Welcome to Bogotá.
Assistance at El Dorado International Airport – Hotel. Check-in at selected hotel. In the afternoon, take a panoramic tour through the historic area of Bogotá, passing through Colon Theatre, San Carlos Palace, where the Chancellery operates, the Presidential Palace of Nariño, Bolivar Square, the Capitol, the Town hall and the Primada Cathedral. Visit the gold museum and the Botero museum; later ascend by cable car to Monserrate, from where you can have an excellent view of the Colombian capital. Return to Hotel. Overnight accommodation.
Salt Cathedral – Zipaquira.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, tour to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá. Departure from the hotel to the Municipality of Zipa, located 49 km north of Bogotá. On your way, you can see some interesting sightings such as Bogotá’s Sabana and the Bridge of the Commoners. The Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá was built 190 meters deep in a mine and is considered the first wonder of Colombia. Inside you can visit the Stations of the Cross, the Dome, and the Ramp, the Choir, the Balconies, the Narthex Complex and the large naves of the Cathedral. At the end, a panoramic tour to the town of Zipaquirá will be given. Typical lunch in the municipality of Chia; includes: starter, main course, dessert and a non alcoholic beverage. This lunch will be taken at El Portico restaurant, a very particular restaurant known for its own and original recipes based in the old cooking style. Its menu belongs to the “Slow Food” movement (careful and labored cooking). Today, it counts with a large extension of wine offerings. The gastronomy at El Portico evolves with different proposals such as the Argentine Festival, which takes place through the months of May and June. This is the ideal place to enjoy a nice table, good wine and great company. Return to Bogotá. Overnight accommodation.
July 20 Shrine of the Holy Infant.
Breakfast at hotel. In the morning, tour to the July 20 Shrine of the Holy Infant, with a panoramic tour of the city until you reach the 20 de Julio neighborhood where you will visit the Sanctuary of the Divine Child. This church is visited by thousands of parishioners from all over the world and is considered one of the major parishes of our Archdiocese. Return to the hotel. Leisure time. Overnight accommodation.
Welcome to Pasto.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer from the Hotel to El Dorado International Airport, Bogota. Flight: Bogotá – Pasto (additional cost). Assistance and transfer from Antonio Nariño Airport to the Hotel. Departure to Ipiales. On the way, you will be able to observe a beautiful typical landscape of the Andean area of Nariño. 7 km away from Ipiales is the sanctuary of Our Lady of Las Lajas, located at 2,612 meters above sea level; it’s a jewel of architecture and religiosity of our country. The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Las Lajas owes its devotion to multiple miracles dating from the seventeenth century. Lunch.
You will have the opportunity to visit the city of Tulcán in Ecuador. A city with a dynamic commercial area and whose cemetery composes its principal tourist attraction because of its beautiful topiary decorations elaborated in cypress trees. Return and overnight stay at the selected hotel.
Laguna de la Cocha.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to El Encano, 25 km away from Pasto. It is located 2,830 meters above sea level, and has an average temperature of 11º C. Take a boat to La Cocha and visit the Sanctuary of Flora and Fauna in the Corota Island. Lake Guamuéz or La Cocha, which in language of the Quechua translates to lake, is the largest in Colombia. It is also the home to a huge amount of animal and plant species; in its surroundings there are more than fifty natural reserves that seek the conservation of this ecosystem, as well as the sustainable exploitation of the land, in order to keep a natural balance. La Cocha offers delicious cuisine, a marvelous scenario to enjoy nature and an a peaceful place to rest. Lunch at a countryside restaurant. In the afternoon, tour to “El Puerto” a beautiful neighborhood with Swiss-style houses. Return and overnight accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Ground transfer to Popayan. Approximate duration: 5 hours. Arrival and check-in at the selected hotel. In the afternoon, tour to the white city. Take a walk through its beautiful streets, and visit some of the most representative places which posses an important architectural heritage such as the Caldas Park, the Pantheon of the Heroes, Humilladero Bridge, religious art museums, churches and the cloister. Return and overnight accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the Silvia eco trail and the Misak Guambina ethnicity. The indigenous Guambianos inhabit the slopes of the central mountain range around Silvia, in the department of Cauca; their language is related to the Chibcha family, although they also speak Spanish. Tuesday is the best day to visit, because they massively make their purchases in the Silvia market, where tourists can also buy handicrafts. Return and overnight accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Ground transfer to Buga. Duration: 3 hours approximately. Arrival and check-in at the selected hotel. In the afternoon, tour around town. Visit the Lord of Miracles Basilica, were pilgrims from all over the world come to visit. It was built in 1875 and is declared a national monument of Colombia. The temple holds the image of the Fallen Lord, parishioners call it miraculous. Return and overnight accommodation.

Breakfast at the hotel. Ground transfer to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport, Cali. Flight: Cali – Cartagena (additional cost). Assistance and transfer from Rafael Nuñez International Airport to the hotel. Check-in and overnight accommodation at selected hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour in the morning. Visit the modern city, bordering one of the most beautiful harbors in America, Cartagena’s Bay. Travel through the Manga neighborhood, where you will appreciate republican style houses. Then, visit the convent of La Candelaria at Cerro de la Popa, one of the highest spots in the city. Visit to the Old Shoes Monument and the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, one of the most important historical military fortifications of the city. Continue to Las Bóvedas, to do some shopping and finally walk through the Walled City through its main streets and squares. In the evening, take a carriage ride; an excellent and peaceful way to visit Cartagena from a different perspective. Listen to the sound of the horse’s hooves in the alleys of the city and delight with the romantic panorama. The carriage ride lasts 30 or 60 minutes, and has a maximum capacity of four people. The tour starts at the marina park and ends with a dinner at the Santísimo restaurant that includes: starter, main course and dessert. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.

Day tour to San Pedro of Majagua Island in the Islas del Rosario National Park; Islas del Rosario Natural Park is an archipelago made up of 27 islands, 45 minutes away from Cartagena de Indias. The Hotel San Pedro de Majagua is located in Isla Grande and owes its name to the master Pierre Daguet, French painter who in 1955 created his home and studio on the island. Here, you will enjoy the wonderful beach and a delicious lobster for lunch. In the afternoon, return to Cartagena. Overnight accommodation.
